electric-switch was founded by Susie Page after 17+ years working at the intersection of transport, infrastructure, and climate policy across the UK and Australia. Her career spans the design and construction of large-scale transport infrastructure in the UK, through to transport decarbonisation and climate policy in Australia — working across industry, government, and consulting.
That experience gave Susie a clear-eyed view of who was being left behind. Light commercial and heavy vehicles account for 40% of Australia's transport emissions — yet the vast majority of fleet owners are small businesses, most running a single vehicle. They have the most to gain from the clean energy transition, and the least time to navigate the grants, finance structures, and technology options designed to help them.
